The history of Spiżarnia restaurant dates back to 2003. For over twenty years, we have been sharing with our Guests all the best that Mazury land has to offer.
When we made the decision to open the restaurant two decades ago, we never imagined in our wildest dreams that it would become a truly magical place. We have shared this magic with our Guests, participating in their family celebrations, joining in their joys, and enhancing their relaxation and meetings. Thanks to the extraordinary energy of our dedicated team, the saying that people make the place, not things, truly comes to life here.
Over the many years of Spiżarnia's operation, the restaurant has gained a multitude of friends and regular Guests who return not only for the delicious flavors of their favorite dishes but also for the unique magic of this place, filled with culinary and spiritual delights.
Since the beginning of Spiżarnia's existence, we have strived to build a homely atmosphere, not only in our relationships with our Guests but also by creating an unforgettable ambiance with our interior design. We constantly strive to keep up with the times, ensuring the comfort of our Guests while maintaining the unique sentimental touch of Spiżarnia's rustic character from twenty years ago. A vintage grandmother's painting proudly placed in a central spot on the wall reminds us of what is most important: our past, our traditions, our roots. In 2024, the restaurant underwent a metamorphic renovation, but its decor still reflects its name.
Spiżarnia is not an ordinary restaurant. It's a place where, alongside continually refined recipes, we have been gathering countless personal memories, the smiles of our Guests, and impressions from various events we've organized for over twenty years.
"In a quiet corner called the Market Square, there lies the 'Spiżarnia' restaurant. This establishment boasts a spacious, covered terrace and a cozy interior conducive to relaxation. Spiżarnia offers homely Polish cuisine (though it does not shy away from creative borrowings from other countries' culinary traditions), featuring meat dishes (such as beef cheeks), fish, game (such as wild boar roast), pierogi, and a wide variety of soups. I particularly recommend the soups, among them: 'dragon's breath,' an onion and garlic soup with cheese and croutons, or the unpredictable daily special soup, known here as 'hamster reserve,' depending on the day and the chef's imagination."
